Youth Vaping Epidemic
The youth vaping epidemic continues to surge, and schools are tasked with playing a key role in confronting and addressing the crisis. Students are using vape pens in schools that are filled with nicotine, CBD, and other THC-based products. These vape pen products are known to cause students to have hallucinations, panic attacks, vomiting, nausea, causing students to pass out, and also causing heart racing.
Since educators are interacting with youth on a near-daily basis, schools are on the front line of the epidemic. According to recent research, parents and educators believe student vaping is causing interruptions and decreasing student focus.
