UV Fluorescent Ribbons

ID Card UV Printing UV fluorescent ribbons contain special panels that allow you to print fluorescing images on plastic PVC cards. These fluorescent panel ribbons produce grayscale images and text that only appear with a UV black light — a significant security feature that help prevent fraud, counterfeiting and forgery.

To add custom UV images, you will need an ID card printer compatible with UV printing. When selecting a ribbon for your printer, the UV panel is typically represented by the letters "UV" or "F" for fluorescent. For example, you may see YMCFK or YMCKUvK.
