The term "output hopper" refers to a device that catches the card after it is printed.
Output hoppers have a card capacity limit ranging from just a handful of cards to hundreds, allowing you to efficiently print cards in batches — just start and walk away!
Some printers have the ability to upgrade to a larger capacity output hopper — or a "spare" hopper. Additionally, select printers may have FIFO output hoppers, which are mechanical hoppers that eject cards in "first in, first out" order, ideal for applications like service bureaus.
