​Composite Card​s

Composite ID cards (​poly-​composite) are cards constructed of 60% PVC plastic and 40% PET plastic, as opposed to just PVC plastic.

Composite PET cards are durable and ideal for use with retransfer printers and printers with lamination because they tolerate the higher operating temperatures. Because PET plastic is a durable material with greater flex and impact strength, composite cards are recommended for applications where the card is worn or used outside in the elements and/or frequently ​swiped.
